Warranty Guidelines:

Smith & Warren custom shirt, wallet, and hat badges, including miniature Family Badges, are covered by the Lifetime Warranty.  Nameplates, collar insignia, and W Series in-stock badges are not covered by the warranty.     

Leather products without a badge cut (Universal) generally take between 5-7 days to receive. Leather products with a specific badge cut (Custom) can take 2-4 weeks to receive. If you'd like to receive your wallet or case sooner, you can select “Rush Production & Delivery” for an extra $10 at Checkout.

Custom products, including badges and recessed wallets, need to be made for you!  Orders usually ship when all items are ready.

Custom Badges.  

Custom badges are individually handcrafted in White Plains, NY.  The entire manufacturing process takes take approximately 6 weeks. 

If you need custom badges quickly, we have a limited selection of Badge Express models that ship in about 1-2 weeks.

We also offer Rush Production on many products for an additional fee.

To preserve your badge's new look and shine, wash it occasionally with mild soap and warm water. Dry it with a clean, soft cloth.  

Smith & Warren badges do not tarnish.  If your badge appears to have lost its lustre, it is dirty (not tarnished).  You can clean it with mild soap and water, or use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner such as glass spray (windex). 

NEVER use jewelry polish, brass cleaner, toothpaste, or any other harsh abrasive or chemical cleaner.  These types of cleaners will damage the finish of your badge.

Any badges that refer to Law enforcement require ID verification. This includes, but is not limited to Police, Officer, Sheriff, Trooper, Marshal, Constable, Highway Patrol, District Attorney, Judge, Parole, Probation, Peace Officer, Corrections, and Patrolman. Also:

Flat Badges

Flat badges are meant for wallets, cases or displays, such as shadow boxes or plaques.  In fact, sometimes a wallet badge is called a "Flat Badge"!  Usually the attachment for a flat badge will be either Wallet Clip or "Glue in Wallet'.

A text separator is an engraved dot or star (your choice) that appears on circular panels.

It breaks up the text on the top of the circle from the test on the bottom of the circle.  In situations where there is a lot of text around a circle, this prevents them from being confused as one line. 

Enamel color is the color of the lettering on your badge. For example, if you select Blue, all of the text you enter will appear in blue.
