Custom badges are individually handcrafted in White Plains, NY.  The entire manufacturing process takes take approximately 4 - 6 weeks.  Most orders ship by United States Postal Service.

Production begins within 24 hours after you place your order (or, if ID is required, within 24 hours of your ID being verified).  Each custom badge passes through 5 major stages of production:

Stage 1: Engraving.  A technician lays out your text on each panel of your badge, paying attention to letter spacing and size.  Once finalized, a rotary engraving machine deeply engraves your text into the badge.

Stage 2: Enamel.  The colored enamel is applied into the deeply engraved letters on your badge.

Stage 3: Assembly.  For applied panel badges, the panels are soldered (attached) to the front of the badge and the attachment (pin or wallet clip) is soldered to the back of the badge.

Stage 4: Plating.  The shiny metal coating (nickel, rhodium, or gold) is applied to the badge.  For two-tone badges, badges are plated twice to achieve both silver and gold.

Stage 5: Quality Control.  A skilled technician checks each badge to make sure it is made to the specifications you ordered and that it meets our high quality standards.

When your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking number.
